GCash’s notice halts licensed gaming top-up and withdrawal across the wallet from 16 August 2025 and blames BSP Memorandum M-2025-029; it also states that no Games service remains inside the app. For the lobby that leaves GCash as a wallet and nothing more: it labels itself no gaming app and refers players on to the merchants.
